Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

This policy explains how Grow and Mow NZ Limited ("Grow and Mow", "we") handles personal information collected through this website, under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

  • Quote requests: your name, phone number, email (optional), property address or suburb, the service you need, whether it's one-off or regular, and any message. We also receive the page you sent it from, and our form provider records your IP address and browser type to help filter spam.
  • Chat: anything you type into the chat assistant, plus a random session ID kept in your browser for that visit.
  • Calls and emails: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out the work, and keep our business records. We don't sell your information or add you to a mailing list.

Who handles it for us

We use a few service providers. Some of them store information outside New Zealand, including in the United States.

  • Netlify: hosts this website and stores quote requests.
  • Resend: sends us an email when a quote request comes in.
  • Google Workspace: our business email.
  • Streamline AI: runs the chat assistant on this site.
  • Google Ads: we use the Google tag to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries (for example, that a quote request was sent or the phone number was tapped). Google may use cookies for this. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, do the work and meet our record-keeping obligations, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Emailben@growandmow.co.nz or call022 106 5609.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please talk to us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
