Hi, I'm Ben. Grow and Mow is a locally owned lawn and garden business based in Nelson. I started it because I enjoy the work and I like seeing a tidy section at the end of the day.
Whether it's a regular mow, a one-off tidy-up or a full lawn renovation, you deal with me directly from the first quote to the finished job. I turn up when I say I will, keep the place tidy and charge a fair price.

How often should my lawn be mowed?
In Nelson most lawns need a cut every one to two weeks from spring through autumn, and every three to four weeks over winter. We can set up a regular schedule that suits your lawn and your budget, or just come when you call.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get to the lawn or garden safely, we can do the job while you are out. Just let us know about gates, dogs or anything else we should be aware of.
What happens to the grass clippings and green waste?
We can leave clippings on your property in your green bin or compost, or take them away for a small disposal fee. Just tell us which you prefer when you book.
Do you do one-off jobs or only regular mowing?
Both. Plenty of our customers are on a regular schedule, but we are also happy to do one-off tidy-ups, pre-sale spruce-ups and end-of-tenancy clean-ups.
How do quotes and payment work?
Quotes are free and there is no obligation. For most jobs we can quote from your address and a few photos, otherwise we will pop round and take a look. We invoice after the job and accept bank transfer.
